Mixpanel Integration Setup Guide

1. Create a Service Account in Mixpanel

Access Service Accounts Navigate to the Service Accounts section in your Mixpanel account.

Add a New Service Account Click + Add Service Account to create a new service account.

Configure the Service Account Complete the following configuration steps:

• Enter a Service Account Name for identification
• Select the appropriate Project Role from the drop-down menu
• Set the Expiration Period for your service account

Save and Note Credentials Click Add to create the service account. Important: Record the Username and Secret as you will need these credentials to configure BEEM.

2. Retrieve the Project ID from Mixpanel

Access Project Settings Log into your Mixpanel account, click the Settings icon in the top-right corner, and select Project Settings.

Locate the Project ID In the Overview section, find and record your Project ID. This identifier will be required during BEEM configuration.

3. Configure the Mixpanel Connector in BEEM

Initiate Connector Setup Start the setup for a new Mixpanel connector in BEEM.

Go to the Datalake section 

Enter Configuration Details Provide the following required information:

• Specify your Connection Name
• Choose Service Accounts as the Authentication Method
• Enter the Service Account Username and Secret you saved earlier
• Input the Project ID gathered from Mixpanel

Optional Settings Configure additional settings as needed:

• If your Mixpanel data is stored in the EU, select EU as the Data Region (default is US)
• Choose your preferred Historical Sync Time Frame for the initial data sync

Finalize Setup Click Save & Test. BEEM will verify your configuration and begin syncing your Mixpanel data.
